General Dennis J. Reimer

General Reimer's military experience spans command positions from company to division level and service on staffs up to Headquarters, Department of the Army. His commands include an infantry company at Fort Benning, Georgia, an artillery battalion at Fort Carson, Colorado, the division artillery for the 8th Infantry Division in Germany, the corps artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
He has served in a variety of joint and combined assignments. He served two
combat tours in Vietnam; one as an advisor to a battalion of the South Vietnamese Army,
and the other as an executive officer for an artillery battalion in the 9th Infantry
He served three other tours at the Pentagon as aide-de-camp to the Army Chief of
Staff General Creighton Abrams, as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans for
the Army during Desert Storm, and as Army Vice Chief of Staff.
General Reimer is married to the former Mary Jo Powers. They have a son, Michael, and a daughter, Ann Marie.
